Lindsey & Chris 02.11.17 by Ben Winnington

Talk about beautiful Autumn?! It may be my new favourite time for a wedding after this stunning day.

Chris and Lindsey met through working at Michael Kors and so naturally, their wedding was stylish, sleek and full of stunning guests.

Both of the loved up pair beamed with excitement and anticipation during the morning and then as they said their vows to each other, in front of their close family and friends, you could see they were just 'Team Stuart'.

They laughed with their guests throughout the whole day and we were thrilled to be there. Thank you Mr and Mrs Stuart. We wish you a very long and happy life together.

Liz & Ro 29.08.17 by Ben Winnington

Elizabeth and Rohit. Liz and Ro.

Our second visit to Shustoke Barn this year; and boy does that venue just keep on giving.

Liz and Ro met us at a wedding last year, and I feel like I've waited forever to see this adorable couple say 'I do'. The venue was packed full with friends and family feeling the same sentiment.

I can honestly say this pair are so lovely and brilliant company. We enjoyed your day so much and the love that you have for one another was so wonderful to witness. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

We can not thank you enough for letting us be a part of such a fabulous day, we loved it from the emotional and loving start, right through to the vibrant and energetic finish.

Chloe & Cris 02.08.17 by Ben Winnington

Arriving at the West Mill Venue Derby was the first real indication that this day would be something genuinely special.

The venue's quirky industrial charm is perfectly softened through its stunning waterfall surroundings, and was saturated with glittering rose gold and pink themed floral decorations. Chloe casually getting ready with her closest friends and family in the quaint yet trendy dressing room, she laughed her way through the morning with her girlfriends and was bubbling with excitement to marry Cris. A memory I will never forget is Chloe looking in the mirror at her stunning lace dress and saying "this is exactly how I always imagined it would be". A very special moment.

Lets just say, 'emotional' was an understatement as a term for describing the day. Not a dry eye remained by the time Chloe and Cris had said their vows, and tissues were at the ready during the speeches, the dance, the filming and every other available point during the day (even we shed a tear). It is so screamingly obvious this pair are fiercely in love, and are so caring towards one another. Both families joining together was so wonderful to witness, and genuine friendships have formed because of this couple's love for one another.

We have loved working with Chloe and Cris, and enjoyed the whole wedding day with all the details which went into it. The day was stunning from the romantic start to the energetic finish, and we could be more pleased to have been a part of it.

Ed & Rose 23.07.17 by Ben Winnington

No, not those Smiths.

Ed & Rose got in touch with us just over two weeks before their wedding, having decided they wanted something a little extra to remember it by.

When the day arrived, we headed out to Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire, a charming venue that we'd previously been to with our photo booth. This time around though, we got to do the full tour, and it really does hold some hidden treasures.

The aim was for an outside ceremony, but the reality was less straightforward; the weather refusing to settle in the run up to crunch time. Guests made their way to the seats outside, and then the rain hit. The Ashmore Brothers, raring to go as the day's entertainment (highly recommended) covered their amp and ran inside. And then we waited.

And waited.

Thanks to Ed & Rose for having us along to shoot for them. We had a tonne of fun, and it was a pleasure to be part of something with two people so obviously made for each other.

Wales Weekend by Ben Winnington

So,

Kids love the beach regardless of weather and temperature, right?

Give us a deserted beach, a bucket and spade and a pair of wellies and we are golden. August, you let us down, but Wales, you did not disappoint.

Here's a tiny insight into the Winnington-Coe weekend away.

Jessie and Rob wedding 31.07.17 by Ben Winnington

Our second wedding of the year and first time working at the beautiful Hyde House took place on 31st July. Jessie and Rob, had been love birds since their teenage years and they still look at each other with that same adoration now. The morning saw the chilled out Jessie getting ready with her bridesmaids and close family in the beautiful upstairs suit at the venue and the boys were (slightly more nervously) dressing in the hotel on site. The couple had planned an outdoor wedding, and with the typical British summer being its unpredictable self, we were all waiting patiently for the outcome of the weather. However, the sun was blazing and the skies were blue. The beautiful couple said their vows under the gorgeous outdoor archway, surrounded by peaceful hills and fields, their friends, family and even the beloved dogs.

We want to say a huge thank you to the couple for having us along to their special day and everyone at Hyde house for making us feel so welcome.

We wish you both a lifetime of happiness, love and many more canine friends together.

Engagement shoot (including Buddy) by Ben Winnington

So...

Just so we are all clear, if you want to bring your dog along to a shoot, I'm cool with that!

The lovely Jess and Rob took me to their usual dog walking haunt and we played around in the sun and also ate some ice cream! This loved up couple can't wait to tie the knot. And we can't wait to be there!

Houw & Heather wedding 16.06.17 by Ben Winnington

A beautiful Friday.

We've got to know Houw and Heather really well throughout this whole process and so it was an absolute joy and a privilege to be able to photograph their wedding day.

We arrived at Heathers hotel room early to find the girls relaxing, chatting, laughing and being pampered; and already I felt like I was walking into a room full of old mates. The bridal party were all so welcoming, friendly and chatty, and I knew the day would be a blast.

Ben left the girls to join the boys down the pub. (eager for a drink)

The whole wedding party arrived at the beautiful Shustoke Farm Barn venue in true vintage style, filling out two VW camper vans.

The rest of the day flowed beautifully, with plenty of laughs, tears, old friends, great food and wild dancing. Needless to say it was the perfect way to kick start our wedding season and we felt like we were guests with a huge group of friends all day long.

We can't wish Houw and the beautiful Heather enough happiness as they start their lives as Mr & Mrs Ridley.

Thank you so much for having us.

Evelyn's Christening + First Birthday. by Ben Winnington

What a day. 28.05.17

We arrived at the beautiful church in Chaddesly Corbett, to be greeted by Jodie's glamorous and welcoming mother, and started photographing the tranquil surroundings. What followed was the busiest church we've ever seen; everyone there to celebrate the welcoming of gorgeous Evelyn into the faith.

She behaved perfectly throughout the whole service and was absolutely loving the attention from all her adoring friends and family.

The afterparty was a combined christening reception/first birthday party and it was no less than epic. Jodie (Evelyn's mom) left no detail out. Every child in that room was in their absolute element, with endless amounts of toys, bouncy castle, luxury party bags and possibly the biggest sweet table ever created. The whole wonderful day was rounded off by another big surprise for the birthday girl who made her grand entrance to the function room on a Range Rover which delighted guests and was the envy of all the children.

We would like to say a huge thanks to the Poole family for inviting us along to such an uplifting and fun filled event. We wish lovely Evelyn a Happy First birthday and congratulations on your Christening.

Hugo Butterly by Ben Winnington

He's Here.

Julia Cheshire and Dave Butterly went and had a baby. And he's beautiful.

We've known this pair a long time and I can guarantee no baby before Hugo will have ever been so greatly anticipated! He is so loved.

We are all so excited to be around to watch this little man grow.

Hugo Thomas Butterly, you don't know how happy we are you're here.
